Road to COO

Nicole Rainer joined The Boutique Agency (former SEM Boutique) in January 2017 as an Online Marketing Manager and was responsible for Operations from January 2019 to December 2021. From 2022 to 2025, she was part of the company’s executive management. Since early 2026, she has been COO, responsible for managing daily operations and improving internal processes.

After earning her Diploma in International Marketing (FH) with a double degree (Management with Marketing) from Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland, Nicole Rainer began her professional career in online marketing. From 2013 to 2014, she worked at an SEO agency in Augsburg, managing various client projects in on-page and off-page search engine optimization, content marketing, and web analytics. She then joined Blue Summit Media GmbH as an Online Marketing Consultant from 2014 to 2016, focusing on international client projects in SEA and providing holistic, cross-channel online marketing consulting.
